The publication’s latest article explores how the decision marks a turning point for padel in Bath, a city that had become synonymous with rejected applications and headlines claiming the sport was banned.

Our CEO, Rupert Taylor, spoke to The Padel Paper about what this breakthrough means not just for Smash, but for padel in general. He said “Our Bath success has motivated us to carry on showing councillors and potential objectors the wider benefits padel can bring. We want authorities to think, ‘Wow, how can we bring this to our community?’ That’s the only way we’re going to shift the emphasis away from noise complaints.”

Bathampton will become Smash Padel’s seventh UK location.
