Padel Court Attire Policy: o ensure safety, hygiene, and a respectful environment for all players and spectators, the following attire guidelines must be observed at all times while on the padel courts:
1. Tops Required: All players must wear a top (e.g., t-shirt or sports top) at all times while on the court. Playing shirtless or without an appropriate top is not permitted.
2. Appropriate Clothing: Athletic wear designed for sports activities is required. This includes comfortable and non-restrictive clothing that allows full movement and maintains modesty.
3. Footwear: The right footwear can make all the difference in your padel game, enhancing grip, stability and comfort on the court. Padel involves quick lateral movements, sudden stops and explosive sprints, so wearing the right padel shoes helps prevent injuries while improving performance. Can you wear tennis shoes? There are two main types of tennis shoes: hardcourt, and clay court tennis shoes. Hardcourt tennis shoes have a smoother grip to allow sliding on high-traction hardcourt surfaces, while clay court tennis shoes have herringbone soles to maintain traction on slick clay courts. Padel players can use clay court tennis shoes because they have the same herringbone grip as padel shoes. On the other hand, padel players should not use hardcourt tennis shoes because they do not have enough grip for padel’s sandy courts. Bare feet, sandals, or inappropriate footwear are not permitted. Remember our courts are outside or under a canopy and the playing surface will change depending on the weather conditions.
Thank you for helping us maintain a respectful and safe playing environment.
