Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My favourite place to play.
All the benefits of outdoors but sheltered.
No artificial lights or noise. Great atmosphere.
Staff are so friendly and helpful, lots of coaches on hand.
Cafe is first rate.
Love it!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Really disappointed with the club pushing the cancellation window up to 48hrs. 2 days is just too far in advance to lock people in, things pop up with work, family etc… at short notice, and now you’re penalised. It completely takes the spontaneity out of playing and will make people hesitant to book. 24hrs was fine, but 2 full days is a bit much.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 1sy July had a coaching session with Steve. Top man as always 😁👏🍷
Great organisation and very friendly staff. The Nettla App is very easy to book all sorts on from courts to group lessons etc.
A really nice small deli in there as well which services the tennis courts as well. It will be a great spot in the summer.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So much fun! I went with my friends and genuinely had a brilliant time, I was awful at the game but it was so fun. The facilities were good, you can rent rackets (although I feel like it shouldn’t be extra money to rent the racket) and it’s super clean. There’s also a coffee shop.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The courts are great, as are the staff, Nettla app and facilities. However, my friends and I have noticed that there is no lighting in the park and the walk through Landaff fields to get to the courts is very dark. This puts us off going during the evenings at the moment due to it feeling genuinely scary.

How did you get into padel?
I first discovered padel in 2020 while training in Sweden for tennis. The sport was really taking off there, so I started playing a few evenings a week and soon caught the bug.

What do you enjoy most about coaching?
The smiles! Seeing people enjoying themselves on court is the best part of the job.

What are your coaching qualifications?
I’m currently completing my LTA Level 2 qualification—almost there!

What’s your favourite shot?
The backhand volley, because I get to give the ball a good slap!

If you could play padel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Smash Padel Cardiff, of course. It’s the best club around!

Is there life beyond playing, coaching and thinking about padel?
You’ll usually find me in the gym, grinding away.

My friends and colleagues would describe me in three words…
Wam, bam and tam!

The phrase you’ll hear me repeat most often during a coaching session is…
“Down the middle solves the riddle.”
